About

Where Healing Begins

My multicultural story began as a teenage immigrant struggling to find a balance between western ideology and Arabian traditions. This helped me come to the realization that our basic needs are love, safety, and peace. I believe my background has provided me with the cultural diversity that has both enriched me and benefited my client's in their growth. This experience has given my clients a unique unconditional positive regard that makes them feel safe and unjudged. The therapeutic relationship is key to unlocking and moving the client forward. This relationship provides the client with a safe, nonjudgmental holding place to find themself and discover 'aha' moments. My passion is to empower women to see their strengths and help couples and families find a common ground. Serving others in my community through healing organizations is what helped me to become a mental health professional. I'm also fluent in Arabic/English and have an understanding of Islamic religion. I look forward to hearing about your story and where you would like to be...
